The good, the bad and the lighter side of living with Young Onset Parkinson's Disease by Sonya Enkelmann
It's easy to think we'll always be fit and healthy. In 2020 I was a wife, mum of two kids, working and studying; Parkinson's was not part of my world. A preliminary diagnosis the day after I turned 49 changed my life and that of my family. It continues to both challenge and enrich us. I hope this blog increases awareness of Young Onset Parkinsons and helps others in similar situations. Welcome. Side note: I am not a doctor - so please seek your own medical advice.
