Introducing our secret weapon for smashing P2P...

Hi everyone!


If like me you are a leeetle bit nervous about hauling yourself up Kunanyi, 21.1 km and 1270m of elevation, then know everything is going to be okay.


We have a secret weapon.


Yvette Edward, incredible athlete in her own right, super coach to kids in athletics, and fitness coach, has set up a program to help us get into P2P shape. Hooray!

The training program is at the bottom of this blog. Most importantly it is staged, flexible and realistic for those of us who sometimes find it hard to fit in exercise around our busy lives. Thank you Yvette.


Yvette has also set up a private Facebook group with P2P advice and tips, updates and information on training walks. All welcome.

A message from Yvette

Let me introduce myself - I am an Engineer, State Team Coordinator for Athletics Tasmania, Business manager for family run Building Business, Middle Distance run coach for junior athletes, and a personal trainer.

In my spare time , I love to run and ride and love to inspire others to do the same.


This is where I help YOU to achieve your goal of walking the P2P with Sonya Enkelmann on the 21st Nov to support her cause to raise finds and awareness for YOPD.


Sonya will provide you with the training plan that I have developed that you can use if you wish.


The FB group is to provide support/details of activities/organized group walks/updates/Strength WO details/Nutrition and hydration tips and other general tips for getting to the top of the mountain.
